HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR
Corrr!!!! What a scorcher of a day. Watching the Spanish News this morning it stated that it could hit 50 degrees in some parts of Spain today. They were not wrong as you can feel you are burning instantly just by walking a few 100 meters. SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU ARE OUT, ALWAYS TAKE SOME WATER WITH YOU AS IT CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS, BUT AT THE SAME TIME LETS ALL BE SENSIBLE AND ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!!!!!!

Just got back from seeing Bella Luna, once again we were not disappointed their show was really good.
Juan captivated us all with his raw talent and they featured a guitar medley with both Juan and Jose playing acoustic guitar.
Once again Juan thrilled his audience with his rendition of Michael Jackson´t Thriller routine, just amazing!!

BOTTLED WATER BEWARE
As we now seem to be getting into our hot weather, it is important that people know the dangers of bottled water being left in the car. As we all know, when you leave your car parked and then return to it, the heat inside the car is sometimes unbearable. If you have left a bottle of water in your car for a time, the water gets quite hot, and, as we have all done, we drink it.
This has now proven to be very dangerous. Under normal circumstances, when bottled water is stored, after a period of only 3 months, the plastic of the bottle will give off toxins in the water. This in turn will cause upset tummies and diahorrea. When left in heat, the toxins become dioxins, which can cause breast cancer. The answer is, DO NOT store water in plastic bottles. Water should only be stored in glass containers.
The answer to all the problems is not to buy bottled water.
Have a water filter fitted which comes straight from the mains. The water in La Marina and surrounding areas is quite good. A lot of people drink it straight from the tap. A Dual Water filter that is supplied by Pureflo Spain will take out the smell and the taste of chlorine, kill 99.99% of bacteria, including MRSA, e coli, salmonella and many others, thereby leaving you great tasting water, with all the nutrients left in. FOOTBALL FIXTURES FOR 2011/12 SEASON OUT TODAY
The fixtures for the season have just been released and for you football lovers out there I have listed the first weekends games below. The fixtures kick-off on Saturday 13th August 2011.
Blackburn v Wolverhampton, 15:00
Fulham v Aston Villa, 15:00
Liverpool v Sunderland, 15:00
Man City v Swansea, 15:00
Newcastle v Arsenal, 15:00
QPR v Bolton, 15:00
Stoke v Chelsea, 15:00

I will be keeping you up to date on a regular basis throughout the football season.

My predictions are as follows:-
Champions - Man Utd
Runners up - Man City
3rd position - Liverpool
4th position - Chelsea
In my opinion Man Utd will get stronger this season and push on, Man City are going to push us all the way and Liverpool will obviously improve, but I think Chelsea will be going through a transitional period next year.
Relegated - Wigan, Swansea and Blackburn.
The Red Devils to come home with the 20th title. UNITED!!!!!!!

I think now that we have won the FA cup and ticked off our first hurdle we will now be able to be more consistent and win the league. Man Utd will still be strong but on this ocassion we win the league. Chelsea will struggle as they are all getting too old and Liverpool will improve and make the final champions league spot. Arsenal will miss out this year as I cannot see them adding to their fire power.

Walking through Almoradi Market today felt like being in a cattle market, so many people, so hot and sticky, just wanted to get to the first bar with air con! Not pleasant having a stroll in these conditions. Could not wait to get back home and slip into the pool, lovely,cool and fresh, best place to be.
